Research is not about collecting data and presenting findings. It is about a journey marked by challenges, discoveries, and personal growth. Our case here is or Community-Based Research project, which falls under the category of Community-Based Research-Science, Technology, and Health; we chose to focus on health and wellness, which we dubbed our topic. Doon Po Sa Amin, Ang Ayos Ng Basurahan Ay Di Kayang Talunin: Investigating The Waste Management Of Bongtolan. We started on a very pressing local issue, honing our research, technology, and storytelling skills.

In the fourth photo, we are preparing for our presentation of the CBR webpage by working on the script. Our group leader compiled all the necessary details and formatted them into a Word document, ensuring that everyone had a clear guide for the presentation. Once the script was finalized, we focused on memorizing our parts, practicing our delivery, and refining our explanations. This process helped us feel more confident and prepared, allowing us to present our research effectively as a team.
Finally, this experience made me appreciate the artistic as well as the technicality of web development, especially being able to find joy in typing codes. Photoblog witnessed the final stages of our group's success against every obstacle set. In fact, each photograph and caption for the Photoblog presented a story not only about the data but also about teamwork, perseverance, and creativity that characterized this project. I learned that research is not only the final outcome but learning in itself. Other than the technicality that the whole project has opened up our understanding of why waste management is integral in our community. This opened our eyes on what Barangay Bongtolan is faced with in dealing with waste disposal and how it reacts to such.
This brought us to change our perspective toward our own input in sustainability, as well as the proper management of waste disposal. In researching, we also learned that environmental conservation was all about community participation. The idea of change beginning from awareness and action was something very important. Though our project took a different direction, the experience was invaluable. At the end, our Community-Based Research was not just about presenting information; it was about sharing our journey and the meaningful experiences that came with it. Through this project, I not only learned more about our research topic but also discovered my own enthusiasm for coding and storytelling, which I hope to develop further in the future.
